No. The stones are lab-created moissanite, a different gemstone that sparkles even more than a diamond and costs far less. We always sell it as moissanite.
Will it pass a diamond tester?
Most standard thermal diamond testers read moissanite as a diamond. A moissanite-specific tester can tell the two apart.
Is it real sterling silver?
Yes. The pendant and rope chain are solid 925 sterling silver, plated in white gold or yellow gold.
Will it tarnish? How do I care for it?
Sterling silver can darken over time with air and moisture. Take it off before showering, swimming or working out, keep perfume and lotion away from it, and store it in a closed pouch or box. A soft silver cloth brings back the shine.
