No. The stones are lab-created moissanite, a different gemstone that sparkles even more than a diamond and costs far less. We always sell it as moissanite.
Will it pass a diamond tester?
Most standard thermal diamond testers read moissanite as a diamond. A moissanite-specific tester can tell the two apart.
Is it real sterling silver?
Yes. The pendant is 925 sterling silver with a 14K gold-plated finish, on a gold-plated cable chain.
Will it tarnish? How do I care for it?
Gold plating can soften over time with wear. Take it off before showering, swimming or working out, keep perfume and lotion away from it, and store it on its own. Wipe with a soft cloth to keep it bright.
